“Let the mouth also fast from disgraceful speeches and railings. For what does it profit if we abstain from fish and fowl and yet bite and devour our brothers and sisters? The evil speaker eats the flesh of his brother and bites the body of his neighbor." -

St. John Chrysostom

Sunday School News!
The flu season hit hard these past couple months. We hope all of you are healthy.  We are looking forward to getting everyone back together on Sunday mornings for Sunday School.

Easter, April 1st, is right around the corner.  The Sunday School has some special things planned to celebrate this important holiday in our church.  The kids will be singing Easter Sunday at the 10:30 worship service. They are working hard every Sunday on their song. Please make plans to attend Sunday school to practice during the opening. On Easter Sunday there will be Sunday School as usual at 9:30. After the opening, your teachers will have their Easter Sunday lesson, and then the kids will sing during church.  The Sunday after Easter the Outreach group are planning on having their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Whether it is inside church or outside will depend on the weather.

2nd graders will be receiving their Bibles. We are still unsure which Sunday we are doing this. As we know, we will call all 2nd graders parents and let them know.

Right now it looks as though the last Sunday of Sunday School for this school year will be the last Sunday in April. This is not definite, but keep this in mind.

The teachers want to thank the kids for a great Sunday School year so far and hope to end this season with lots of fun.
See you Sunday!
